Fermented at a lower temp than their standard ales, gives this Scotch Ale a very malty taste. Scottish & English malts are blended w/English hops to create a strong, sweet, malty finish. The caramel color comes from a blend of 3 types of Scottish & English crystal malts. The hops are UK Kent Goldings, but only in small amts, so that the malt flavor still comes through.
